Right Up Your Alley at the Kirkwood Store

As the weather gets nicer and you're thinking about breakfast, lunch, or dinner, don't forget the Kirkwood store, right up the alley in all directions off Kirkwood Avenue, Dunn, 6th, and Grant, closest to the beautiful campus at IU.

This is our original store, in a converted limestone carriage house. You can eat in the spacious sunny room upstairs or under the awning on our patio. It's tulip time, thanks to our neighbors at Runcible Spoon.

Students—the Kirkwood store is a great place to get away from campus chaos, even during dead week and finals! Our upper level seating area is the perfect location to linger over a beverage or meal, relax, and study for those exams.

Place Your Order for a Rain Barrel

It's the last few days to place your order for a rain barrel with the Monroe County Soil and Water District. You can order your rain barrel from their office directly, where they'll be available for pick-up later in the season.

These are durable, food grade 55-gallon plastic rain barrels, recycled from use as food containers. All the necessary valves are included, as well as a mesh screen for the top of the barrel.

Opening This Spring at Ivy Tech

Bloomingfoods to Open at Ivy Tech’s Main Campus

The food store, referred to as Bloomingfoods Ivy Tech, is under construction and if all goes well, will be opening soon. Here's Rodney, stocking the shelves for the new store.

This Bloomingfoods store will feature ready-to-eat food items including made-to-order sandwiches and panini, wrapped sandwiches and salads, baked goods, and a beverage service that includes coffee, tea, juices, and soft drinks. We anticipate relatively limited hours of operation — 8am to 6pm, Monday through Friday.
