Recipe: Creamy Boursin Omelette

Boursin OmeletteA simple and tasty way to start your day!
Butter, eggs, Boursin, and some salt and pepper. 
You can add your favorite veggies and garnish with crumbled bacon.
Try serving it up with some fresh organic coffee and bread with jam for a lovely breakfast.

Makes 1 serving
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes
Ingredients for each omelette:

  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 3 Tablespoons Boursin® Garlic & Fine Herbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Melt butter in small skillet, over medium-high heat. In small bowl, beat eggs, salt and pepper until well combined.
  2. Slowly pour egg mixture into heated skillet, swirling eggs around pan. With spatula, gently draw egg mixture away from sides of skillet into the center, allowing egg mixture to flow towards sides of skillet. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until eggs are set.
  3. Crumble Boursin on to half of omelette. With spatula, gently flip the omelette in half, keeping cheese-side down. Cook for another minute or until Boursin is melted and omelette is golden brown.

TIP: Add your favorite chopped vegetables. Garnish top of omelette with chopped fresh green onions or crumbled bacon. Serve with a warmed baguette and jam made with real fruit.
