East Store Transition to Spring Wines & Beers

Well folks, March is here and Spring is in the air. A great time of year to start switching it up and enjoying some white wines again. We have a very nice selection of white wines here at the East store, ranging from Chardonnay to Vigonier and everything in between. We have great Pinot Grigios from Italy and Germany, Chardonnays from California, Chile, and even Washington. If less fruity flavor is more your style, try a crisp Sauvignon Blanc from California or France. The tropical fruit flavors of white wines are a treat for the taste buds and make for a very refreshing wine drinking experience. Also, a great choice for your early spring picnics would be a nice crisp rosé. Don't be fooled by thier pink color, there is so much more to rosé wines than the ubiquitous white zinfandel. Flavors of strawberries and pomegranate tantalize the palate in many of these refreshing wines. Look for new vintages of rosés later in the month.

As I'm sure you're well aware, March also means St. Patrick's Day and the wearing of the green. There are some wonderful Irish style beers on the market today and we've got a great one in Boulevard Brewing Co.'s Irish Ale. Full-bodied, malty yet dry and a great finish, this beer is sure to satisfy even the most discerning beer love. Get it while it lasts.

Lastly, look for new local meads from New  Day Meadery on our local wine racks soon. What could say March, St. Patty's Day and spring better than a nice mead?
