We’re welcoming the cooler weather and getting ready for fall in the beer and wine department of the eastside Bloomingfoods!  This means lots of new beers, including Octoberfests from Upland, Left Hand, Spaten, New Belgium, and our personal favorite, Boulevard’s Bob’s 47 Octoberfest.  We’ve also added a couple of other seasonal favorites, Buffalo Bill’s Pumpkin Ale and Lakefront Pumpkin Ale.  Prices on our fall seasonal beers range from $8.99 to $11.99 a six-pack.

We’re also excited about all the fun events that fall brings to Bloomington, including football season.  Need ideas for your next tailgate menu?

Come in and pick up a Brew Appetit twelve-pack for $23.99.  Not only does this variety pack offer a diverse selection of high quality beers, it also includes a booklet with recipes and food and beer pairings.  Brew Burgers accented with Victory’s Storm King Stout, Sweet and Sour Beer Potato Salad made with Three Floyd’s Robert the Bruce Scottish Ale, and Orange-Lager Beer Grilled Tuna with Orange-Avocado Relish and paired with Bell’s Lager of the Lakes are just some of the delicious recipes featured within.  If you already have your tailgate menu planned try our Spaten Variety twelve packs, marked down from $19.99 to $16.99 for a limited time only.  Including Spaten Lager, Spaten Optimator, and Franziskaner, this variety pack offers something for everyone.

Prefer wine at your tailgate?  Try our new Santa Alicia wines from Chile, featuring three varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Chardonnay, each in 1.5 liter bottles.  At $12.99 per bottle you can afford to offer everyone a glass of these full-bodied, fruit forward wines.  Also new to our shelves are Hybrid Organic wines from California.  With four varietals, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Pinot Nior, and Petit Syrah, all priced at $8.99, made from organically grown grapes, and grown using sustainable farming practices, you can enjoy these wines not only one your palette, but also your wallet and conscience.
